These instructions are tailored for helping you join Secrets of Lingor, please expand on the information here when using other mods,servers,etc...
DAYZ LAUNCHER
- Works with ARMA 2 OA 1.63.
- Clean and easy to use.
- Automatically Detects Mods.
- Downloads via Torrents for maximum bandwidth.
INSTALLATION
- Remove previous beta patches(Only do this step if you need to, if not skip to the next step) - Delete everything inside the ARMA2OA root folder
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead
Note you can keep your @mod folders but make sure @dayz_Epoch has been renamed @dayz_Epoch1051. - Right click Arma 2 and Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead in your steam library, go to properties and verify integrity of game cache - Look here
- Run both Arma 2 and Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead from steam
- Download and install DayZ Launcher - dayzlauncher.com
- Search for the Server you wish to join, double click it and DayzLauncher will tell you which mods you need. You can double check you have everything you need installed on the Mods page - Look here
- Add the server to your favorites by clicking the star - Look here

Look at your main menu if you are being kicked & make sure the latest beta patch is installed.
90% of all the errors Can be fixed by creating a symlink between arma 2s addons folder and arma 2 operation arrowheads root folder.
